about our
handmade soap
It is so delightful and intriguing to create something beautiful where it once didn’t exist.
The Art of Soap Making is boundless, it is continuously evolving and becoming a definite class of its own.
If you like colour and design, you will love my cold press soaps.
I will not put a soap on the shelf for sale unless I am a 100% satisfied with all aspects of it, including quality selected oils, butters, additives, cosmetic grade colourant, essential oils, fragrances, and design.
Every soap takes much time and planning, with either a Muskokan or Imaginary theme, that I strive to bring alive. I am always looking for better ways to improve a particular batch, so the design may not be exactly what you had before, but that’s the fun in what I do.
I have been making Cold Press soap for fourteen years, and have experimented with Hot Press and Melt & Pour soap, but find that the Cold Press process ultimately produces the best bar of soap.
The cold press process maintains its active beneficial ingredients in the oils, because it’s not heated to high temperatures for melting and curing, and is much more versatile for creating smooth and consistent colour.
My wish is to offer my clients a luxurious bar of soap with a theme that captures their character and style.
